For the profession
Referring
Dentists
We take referrals across North and West Yorkshire for endodontics, implant surgery and orthodontics. You get a report within five working days of the appointment, and your patient comes back to you for the restorative work — we do not poach lists.

What we take
Send a radiograph with the referral where you have one. If you are not sure whether a case is referable, ring and ask for the clinician directly rather than filling in a form.
Endodontics
Dr Tomasz Bielski. Molar root canals, retreatment of failed cases, separated instruments, perforation repair and apicectomy. Treated under a microscope at up to 25×. Harrogate Mondays and Thursdays, Wetherby Fridays.
£520–£1,050
Implant surgery
Dr Adam Rowntree. Guided placement from CBCT, grafting and sinus lifts, full-arch cases. Surgical-only referrals welcome where you would rather restore the case yourself — we will place and hand back with the scan data and a stock abutment.
from £1,850 surgical only
Orthodontics
Dr Frances Aldridge. Adults and children, fixed, ceramic and aligner cases, plus interceptive assessment from age eight. Happy to see and advise without treating where the answer is to wait.
£110 assessment
Second opinions
Cases you are not sure about, including ones where you suspect the answer is that nothing needs doing. £110, reported to you, and we will say so plainly if we disagree with a plan rather than leave you to infer it from a letter.

How we handle your patient
The reason practices stop referring is not clinical. It is that a patient goes out for one thing and quietly ends up registered somewhere else. So the policy here is explicit, and the reception team are held to it.
We treat what you referred and return them. If your patient asks to transfer, we tell them to speak to you first, and we will not take them onto a recall list without writing to you.
You get the records. Report within five working days, plus radiographs, scan files and photographs on request in a format you can actually open. For implant cases that includes the planning data and the abutment specification.
We will tell you when the answer is no. A meaningful proportion of referrals here conclude that the tooth is not restorable, or that the case does not need treating yet. You get that in writing with the reasoning, and the patient is charged for the assessment and nothing else.
Send a referral
Email referrals@ashcroftclinic.co.uk with the patient’s details, the tooth and a radiograph, or ring the clinic and ask for the clinician by name. We acknowledge referrals the same working day.
